The National Scientific Center of Surgery and Transplantation named after O.O. Shalimov of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine received 10 hemodialysis machines from us and our partners – Oksana Ulan, the Ukrainian Medical Society in Germany and the volunteer team from Hamburg and Bremen.
It’s no secret that a person can live for a week or two without hemodialysis if his or her kidneys are unable to cope with the load. Many patients need such devices in peacetime, and during the war, the need for them became even more acute. After all, compression syndromes and acute kidney injuries in the context of military operations among the military, especially as a result of crush syndrome, also called turnstile syndrome or prolonged compression syndrome, have been added.
So, together with our partners, we will continue to work every day to ensure that Ukrainian medical institutions receive only the best and most modern equipment! Only through joint efforts can we provide even more hospitals with all the necessary medical equipment!
