Today, together with the monitoring group of the National Social Service, we visited the Pereyaslav Resilience Center.
We also met with the Department of Social Protection and the Department of Children’s Services. We met with the mayor of the city, Viacheslav Saulko, and heads of departments, and agreed to cooperate in the development of the project in the community.
Everyone will be able to develop resilience skills and be able to quickly get involved in active life even after a crisis – this is what the Resilience Centers are designed to teach.
A self-sufficient person is self-sufficient in everything. Such Ukrainians are able to form self-sufficient communities and the state.
As a reminder, Resilience Centers are friendly, barrier-free spaces where every community resident can go and get first aid and other appropriate support.
This is a pilot project of the Ministry of Social Policy, which is being implemented as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program of First Lady Olena Zelenska.
We are grateful to the international foundation Nova Ukraine for providing great support and giving us the opportunity to travel around Ukraine. To open such support centers for people.
