Our team took part in a regional meeting of Resilience Centers on mental health in communities, which took place in Bucha.

The meeting at the Bucha Resilience Center was attended by Lesya Karnaukh, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Ihor Meshchan, Head of the Department of Social Development and Veteran Policy, Yulia Kazakova, Regional Coordinator of the “Are You OK?” program Yulia Kazakova, and Valeriy Kohutnytskyi, coordinator of psychological health in Kyiv region. They exchanged experience on effective methods of providing psychological assistance to the population. We got acquainted with the work of the institution, as described by Olena Renchka, director of the Bucha Resilience Center, the peculiarities of supporting residents and practical aspects of mental health. The event: “Mental Health in Communities: Regional Meeting of Resilience Centers” was held as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program, launched at the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska, with the support of the WHO Office in Ukraine, the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and the NGO ‘Bezbariernist’.
