We have prepared and delivered a repaired and equipped evacuation vehicle for our border guards.
Our three like-minded partners, the Help for Ukraine Charitable Foundation, the People’s Coalition Charitable Foundation and the Guardian Angel Charitable Foundation, continue to support our soldiers at the front line. We have repaired the starter, lighting, electrics, hydraulic system and equipped the vehicle. The vehicle is fully operational and has a patient monitor and vital signs monitoring system, a pulse oximeter, cardiac monitoring, pressure monitoring, stretchers, a ventilator connected to an autonomous oxygen supply system we installed, and an Ambu bag. There is also a portable defibrillator with a USB charger included, a brand new portable cardiograph that connects via Bluetooth to any Apple device, including a patient monitor and a phone, so that an electrocardiogram can be made on the go.
It includes appropriate fasteners, disposable electrodes with accessories, a box with circuits for ventilators, FFP3 class respirators with valves, consumables (gloves, antiseptics, syringes of various capacities, needles, ventilator consumables, masks, bandages, everything necessary for tamponade, tools, disposable sheets, cooling elements, etc. The connection between the driver’s cabin and the patient has been restored, all alarms are working, and there is a fire extinguisher. We are grateful to our friends and partners who brought this vehicle from the UK, for the components and medical stuffing – to our constant Oksana Ulan and the team of the Ukrainian Medical Society in Germany, Vujko Vasyl and the caring citizens and volunteers of Hamburg and Bremen, Ukrainehilfe Hamburg – for being true to the main principle of charity: to save lives!
