Meeting with the Advisor to the Minister of Social Policy Oksana Astrova

Today at the hub, our team, headed by Stepan Aslanian, President of the “Help For Ukraine” Charitable Foundation, had a pleasant and constructive meeting with Oksana Astrova, Advisor to the Minister of Social Policy on Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities.

Oksana Astrova paid an unannounced visit to the newly opened Resilience Center in Darnytsia district of Kyiv, located in the River Mall. They discussed the key needs of the Centers and hubs, as well as the possibilities of attracting specialists and establishing effective work organization and cooperation in general. They also shared their experiences. We also introduced Oksana Ihorivna to the work of the Center itself, the arrangement of work areas and creative spaces, etc. We are pleased that both our efforts and the work of our specialists were recognized at the highest level. Indeed, there is everything here to make everyone who visits it feel comfortable and cozy. They could spend time interestingly, restore their mental health in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, learn to overcome stress in war and recover from crisis situations in order to re-engage in life and feel more confident in their lives. Such a high appreciation is not only for our work, but also for everyone who helped create such a wonderful space for resilience recovery: Oksana Ulan and the team of the Ukrainian Medical Society in Germany, Rostyslav from Hamburg and UA Never Alone, concerned citizens and volunteers from Hamburg, Flensburg and Bremen, Ukrainehilfe Hamburg, as well as River Mall and Nova Ukraine, and, of course, the Darnytsia District State Administration in Kyiv! This is our joint recognition! Thank you very much!
